THE QUIRKY PARENTING PROJECT.
Support for parents in neurodivergent families
A contained, family-systems-informed program for everyday life
The Quirky Parenting Project is a 6-week, structured program for parents in neurodivergent families who want everyday life to feel calmer and more workable. It is a contained space for parents to step back, make sense of what is happening in their family system, and make small, thoughtful shifts that reduce ongoing strain.
The work is grounded in family systems thinking. We look at how routines, expectations, and communication patterns are organised, and how pressure builds and repeats over time. Change happens through adjusting the system around the family, rather than fixing individuals or enforcing rules.
This program is for parents who:
feel worn down by constant negotiation and repetition
notice recurring patterns but aren’t sure how to shift them
want ethical, neurodiversity-affirming support that fits real life
are tired of advice that ignores context, nervous systems, and constraints
The program runs online in small, contained groups and requires around two hours per week. Parents often notice less escalation, clearer and softer communication, and routines that feel more supportive rather than adversarial. Change tends to emerge through small, cumulative adjustments rather than dramatic interventions.
Delivered online
Time-limited and contained
Designed to fit into busy family life
Requires around two hours per week
Participation is encouraged, not forced
Availability for ongoing individual family sessions is limited.
Many families choose to begin with The Quirky Parenting Project as a structured starting point. Justine offers a small number of ongoing places for families, couples, and adult relationships who require more individualised support.
When families make sense of what’s happening between them, things begin to shift.
