Quirky SUPPORT @ School & HOME Learning.

Quirky Learning is about engaging, connecting & understanding kids, young people & teens who are neurodivergent (or not) within their educational environment. Examining how best to support the student's well-being & love for learning in school or at home. This is done through an ecologically positioned, strengths-based model of curiously examining the environment.

HOW IS THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT NOURISHING YOUR CHILD?

Building on the foundations of positive education and a neurodiversity framework, Justine values the HUMAN RIGHT of each child to learn in the best environment. This often means working closely with parents and caregivers to create safe, creative, nourishing home learning environments or with school leaders.

SCHOOL ISSUES:

  • chronic school refusing behaviour - CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL (different to won't go)

  • bullying cycles

  • school disengagement/low interest

  • classroom exclusion

  • academic engagement

  • teacher-student relationships

  • lunch time & snack time friendships & challenges.

  • The school is not listening to me.

  • How can we make mornings feel less stressful before school and arriving at school?

  • How can lunchtimes become less stressful? What about sports days?
